Albums on CD you can hold, made when someone orders one
An audio CD that plays in anything, with the track names on the disc itself, in a jewel case with a front insert and a tray card.
The shop takes albums. A musician sends the tracks in order and the art, free to start, and an audio CD is made by hand when someone buys one. It plays in the car, the shelf stereo and the player under the television, because it is a plain audio CD.
The disc carries its track names as CD-TEXT, and a live album or a continuous mix can be gapless. The case is a jewel case with a front insert and a tray card, on the workshop's templates.
About We The Indies
We The Indies is a one-person disc shop in St. Augustine, Florida. Indie developers, filmmakers and musicians send finished work; the workshop makes a real disc for it by hand, one copy at a time, and ships it to someone who owns it forever. No DRM, no server to shut off, no licence to revoke. The disc maker, Rialto 1.5, is open source and free.
