Rialto Disc Maker

Games, films and music. Made into discs by hand.

Rialto 2 is being built to prepare games, films and music for our disc editions. It brings the files, artwork and order details together so we can make each copy by hand. Game discs can carry Windows, Mac and Linux builds. Rialto 1.5 is the version you can download today.

What it does

Preparing a title, then making each copy.

  • A game, a film, an album

    Prepare game files, a film with chapters, or an album with its track names.

  • Connected to IndieHub

    Keep the approved files and artwork together with the title’s production details.

  • Made to order

    When a copy is ordered, we write the disc, print the artwork, assemble the case and ship it. The software helps us keep track of the work.

In detail

  • Updates after the disc

    The game can keep growing.

    Supported games can offer updates from their disc menu. Updates change the installed game; the original disc stays playable offline.

  • A signed disc

    A record of the edition we made.

    A signed edition record identifies the title and copy. It never requires an account to play. Signing your Windows installer is a separate choice.

  • Films and music

    Give the film or album its own disc.

    The workflow includes film video, chapters and menu artwork, plus album tracks and CD-TEXT. These are development plans, not a new public download.

  • Windows, Mac and Linux games

    Keep the builds your players need together.

    A disc can include the builds you supply for each platform. The Windows installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds keep their own installation instructions.

    Rialto 2 is still in development. Rialto 1.5 is available now.

Windows, Mac and Linux builds supplied by the developer.

Send the files. We make the copy.

No minimums. You earn at least half. Rialto 1.5 is still yours if you want to write a disc at home.

Can I download Rialto 2?
Not yet. It is in development. Rialto 1.5 is available now.
Is it only for Windows games?
No. The planned workflow covers games with Windows, Mac and Linux builds, as well as films and music.
