What a disc costs

You pick the shelf price. When someone buys a copy, you keep most of it. We take a little for making it. A standard submission has nothing up front. Paid authoring is below.

New this September: the same materials, made by hand in the USA, new features on every disc, and we take less of every sale than we did in year one.

Games, movies, and music

One table. The floor on that table is $10. Some discs cost more to make, so their lowest price is higher: two discs with a Blu-ray start at $16, a disc with a soundtrack CD or a dual-layer DVD at $12. The wizard tells you as you build it. The split is the same table.

Authoring

Three ways to a disc image

Rialto is free when the release sells here. The other two are a $25 service each. None of them is a fee for a checkbox.

  • Author with Rialto

    Free when you sell through We the Indies.

    Build your PC game disc with Rialto. Supported Rialto-authored games sold through We the Indies include game updates and cloud saving once configured and verified.

  • Bring your own ISO

    $25.

    Supply your finished disc image so exactly what you provide is what goes on the disc. We do not add Rialto’s installer or menu. This route does not include Rialto’s game updates, cloud saving or individual ownership record. Choose it if you prefer to avoid AI coding in the disc-authoring step.

  • Authoring and signing only

    $25.

    Have your supported PC game authored and signed with Rialto, with your branding on the launcher and menu, then download the approved master ISO for your own distribution. WTI-hosted updates and cloud saving are included only when an eligible release is also sold through We the Indies.

    Only need the ISO? $25.

Rialto Disc Maker was made over 1.5 years utilizing AI coding.

  • Finished stock a publisher or a store imports needs no authoring and carries no $25 charge.
  • The Remove WTI branding choice already in Rialto stays available to listed partners; the $25 pays for the authoring and signing service, not for the checkbox. Security signatures and required notices remain.
  • A shared master a partner supplies carries no individual copy number.
