The disc is the thing you bought
A game on a disc from We The Indies installs from the disc and plays from its own folder. It never asks for an account, a server or a key. That does not change with anything on this page.
A record beside it
A copy made here can carry an edition record: which title, which edition, and which copy this is, signed by We The Indies, LLC when it was made. The record says what we made and when; it grants no rights and takes none.
Where the record lives
Rook, our launcher, keeps a shelf of the discs you have shown it. Insert a disc once and it stays on the shelf, offline, with its record if it has one. Rook opens when you open it and never runs in the background.
The numbered record
Look up a numbered copy on its own page. A shared master a partner supplies carries no individual copy record, and nothing here is a download of the game.
