Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, the series Walt Disney built, then lost to his distributor in a contract meeting, which is the reason Mickey Mouse exists. Sixteen shorts, drawn mostly by Ub Iwerks, and Oswald is funnier than the mouse that replaced him.

16 titles, about 98 minutes. Walt Disney, Ub Iwerks, Hugh Harman, Rudolf Ising, Friz Freleng.
